Notice of Public Hearing on Amendment to Clearwater River Watershed District's Rules & Regulations

Mar. 13th, 2014: Annandale, Minn. – Notice is hereby given that the Board of Managers for the Clearwater River Watershed District will meet at the Annandale Middle School located in the City of Annandale, Minnesota, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. on April 9th, 2014, to consider adoption of a resolution ordering the amendment of the District's Rules & Regulations to include provisions noted below.

SUMMARY OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT: It is proposed that section 7.2 of the District's Rules & Regulations be amended to clarify what is allowed to be discharged to a Watershed District Sewer System. A Watershed District Sewer System is defined as facilities owned or operated by the CRWD used for providing sanitary sewage collection and treatment service. Currently there are four such facilities: Hidden River, Clearwater Harbor, Rest-A-While, and Wandering Pond.

REVIEW OF CURRENT RULES AND PROPOSED AMENDMENT: Both the current Rules & Regulations as well as the proposed amendment are available for review at the District's office, as well as online. AUTHORITY: The Board of Managers for the Clearwater River Watershed District proposes to proceed under the authority granted by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 103D, as amended.

WRITTEN OR ORAL OBJECTIONS: Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed amendment will be heard at this meeting. Written or oral objections will be considered.
