Clearwater River Watershed District Work Session
July 27, 2005 - 6:30p.m.

CRWD Work Session was called to order at 6:30p.m. by Manager Brunsell. Managers’ Virl Liebrenz, Marvin Brunsell, Mark Kampa, Bob Schiefelbein, and Dennis Loewen were present. Also in attendance was Administrator Merle Anderson.
Administrator Anderson updated the Board of Managers on construction progress on the Clearwater Harbor Area Sanitary Sewer Project.
Manager Brunsell led discussion regarding a proposed 2006 General Fund Levy, Special Revenue Fund Levy, and Capital Project Maintenance Funding. He presented a draft of each fund for discussion and suggested changes will be incorporated for final review at the August 10, 2005 regular meeting.
Administrator Anderson distributed a possible fish barrier location schematic for the Cedar Lake Drainage Area. This schematic compliments the water quality monitoring schematic that indicates levels of phosphorus movement within the same drainage area.
Administrator Anderson announced that the tour of impaired waters in the CRWD including the TMDL (Total Maximum Daily Load) Initiative has been cancelled and will be rescheduled when funding is available.
Administrator Anderson informed the Board that the fieldwork for the septic system inventory on Monroe Street and the gravel portion of Montgomery Avenue in Southside Township has been completed. The summary and individual reports will be available at the August 10, 2005 regular meeting.
Manager Brunsell distributed and discussed a packet of information that will be available at the August 10, 2005 Delinquent Account Public Hearing.
Motion #WS05-07-01: Motion Liebrenz, seconded by Kampa to develop a $2,200 budget for the Wandering Ponds Estates and a $1,000 budget for the Pleasant Lake Sewer Study. Funding is to be transferred from the Special Projects Account. All Managers voted aye.
Motion #WS05-07-02: Motion Kampa, seconded by Liebrenz to adjourn. All Managers voted aye.
